Our fee for service orientation allows our clients to choose the therapist with whom they are most comfortable. Our private practice rate is $95 (plus GST) per 50 minute session. We are in accordance within the rate recommendation of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors, offering an affordable rate adjusted to the economics of the mid island area. Payment is generally made at the time of the appointment by either Interac, cash, cheque, MasterCard or Visa.
MSP does not cover counselling. Many extended health plans now cover the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor. You can check your plan information, or talk to your Human Resources Department.
We also act as local provider for numerous Employee and Family Assistance Programs.
Other third party billing options include ICBC, WorkSafe BC, Crime Victims Assistance, private insurance programs, numerous Federal and Provincial Government referred programs and more.
